Congratulations to the 2024 Manitoba HHOF Inductees!

The Hawks organization would like to acknowledge and congratulate Wayne Deschouwer and Paul Krestanowich on their Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame induction!

As a Builders Inductee, Wayne was the former General Manager/President of the Hawks and built the Hawks into a strong volunteer-driven organization with the emphasis on developing and supporting young athletes who made up the team. Under his guidance, Wayne led the Hawks to 13 MMJHL league titles and became the blueprint for teams to succeed.

As the Officials Inductee, Paul is a former Hawks player from 1989-1991 before deciding to switch careers and focus on officiating. Paul officiated for Hockey Manitoba, the Western Hockey League, IIHF, AHL, and CanWest University Hockey.

Both inductees contributed significantly to Manitoba’s various hockey programs and communities, and many of us wouldn’t be playing without their countless and unselfish commitments to this sport.
